Day 811 – Australia – NSW [Razorback to Moorebank]

29/08/22

43km

From Razorback (New South Wales) to Moorebank (New South Wales)

Australia

Another sunny run, through suburbia now, on cycling paths. It’s getting close!

Country roads towards Camden

The weather seems to be on my side now that Sydney is in sight. I started out from Razorback on a country road all the way to the historical town of Camden. A beautiful place, buzzing with energy, people out on the terraces having their coffee and chatting and working. It has the charm of an ancient city yet with a nice modern touch. I enjoyed crossing it.

Onto historical Camden

After Camden, the run turned more and more into a suburban run. Luckily I had cycling paths and pedestrian paths to run on the whole way to Liverpool / Moorebank. I was in proximity of the main road, the traffic was getting very dense, the unmistakable sign of a big city.

Cycling paths all the way to Liverpool

I did not get to have a view of the skyline of Sydney yet. I guess that will come tomorrow on my final run. I finished the run in Liverpool, which doesn’t seem to be a very vibrant part of Sydney’s suburbs. And just as James proceeded to start the motorhome, the battery indicator alerted us it was dead! Luckily it happens tonight, when there’s no rush – and not tomorrow as he would drive me to my re-start point!
