Another cold and rainy day along the highway, with the occasional ray of sunshine

Menacing skies on the Highway

Today’s run was more or less the same as yesterday’s. No change in the landscape, still running on the straight road – the only difference was probably that the traffic was a lot lighter.

There’s a silver lining after every storm

Other than that it rained and was cold, with a slight tailwind again. Every 5km or so the skies cleared a bit and the sun appeared. It was rather warm with the sun on. I was back in my t-shirts, thinking I should have been wearing shorts rather than leggings. But then 5 minutes later, the skies would get dark again, I would get soaked and it would be like winter.

Quite moody weather on the highway lately! I am hoping to get a rest day in a few days time, as I will run past a bird’s observatory. It would be nice to get to enjoy that and the proximity to the sea and that famous Australian Bight. More about it later!
