Day 582 – US – Pennsylvania [Bedford to Breezewood]

07/11/21

31km

From Bedford (Pennsylvania) to Breezewood (Pennsylvania)

North America

A short sunny run on Lincoln Highway, by the Juniata river

Old Bedford covered bridge

I ran past the old Bedford village as I started the day. It was really cold so I did not spend too much time there. A native American village, reconstructed in its original condition. I stopped by the old covered bridge, took a few pictures and hit the road again. It was -5 Celsius again and I needed to keep moving.

The Juniata river

Today’s run was much flatter than the previous days. I ran on the Lincoln Highway, very quiet in this part of the state. I met with the Juniata river at Everett and the valley was a lot less hilly from this point. A relief! I know the next few days will be hilly again, and I come prepared.
