Heavy dark skies, quiet country roads, thunderstoms and paucity of pictures again

The landscapes (and skies) this morning

It seems yesterday’s extremely wet day did not agree very well with my phone. It was acting very funny in the morning, with the display of colours on screen going berserk. I decided to memorise my route, so as to minimise the use of the phone during the run. I also kept it locked in and took only 2 pictures on my way. Last night I stayed in a place which was relatively cold, with no heater, and somewhat humid. This means the stroller’s fabric and the rest of my equipment did not dry overnight. I suspect my phone has some humidity trapped inside and I hope it will get better tomorrow.

Tip for later: a ziplock bag with a handful of rice grains in it, to protect the phone in humid weather…

Poppy fields everywhere

Today I set off under heavy dark skies. I was just happy that it was not raining again. My shoes were wet which was only uncomfortable for a kilometer or two. I was on schedule to reach Roveredo in Piano before 1pm as there was some more heavy rain and thunderstorms on the menu. I made it on time before the rain and I’m glad to have a roof over my head whilst the thunder is rumbling outside.
