Book release: 20th September!

“Le monde sous mes pieds” (aka: the world under my feet), the book I wrote to retrace the adventure of the world-run, is out on 20th September 2023!

My publisher being French, it is hitting the French market, in French language first. There is no guarantee that a foreign publisher will want to translate it in English, but I will make sure the story is released in English in 2024.

Today I signed the first 200 copies of the book and I also held the book in my hands for the first time. A very exciting and emotional moment – so far it had only been an endless stream of Word documents and PDF: writing and rewriting, correcting and amending…!

The cover page is a picture taken as I was crossing Greece in the summer of 2020, passing through Tyros in the Peloponesos (picture taken by my friend Nigel Coppage).

The book retraces the journey from the genesis of the idea, the inspiration, the 2 years of preparations, and the 2 years 8 months of running across the continents.

I am delighted to have been able to put the story on paper and to keep the journey alive by giving it a new lease of life – on paper!
