Towards Baltimore and the ocean, on a very short run with a bitterly cold wind at my back

Today’s run took me a notch closer to the Atlantic Ocean. Baltimore is located by the Chesapeake Bay, the estuary that leads to the Ocean. Another 9 running days and I will be right by it – patience!

The day went well, easy as it was a short run of less than 30km. I enjoyed it particularly because there was a bitterly cold wind that was blowing at my back. I was glad to check-in early and get into some warm clothes. Then I had the rest of the day to explore Baltimore.

Beautiful bay, lots of red brick buildings and also a few skyscrapers. A cold and beautiful afternoon!
