Day 28 – EU – Spain [Malaga to Torrox]

Europe

A very quiet day by the seaside, very flat, tranquil and peaceful, relaxing and cloudy

Not much to report on today. The road was straightforward, pretty empty, following the seaside of the Costa Del Sol. It was cloudy and rather silent.

There was nothing special to focus my attention on, therefore I spent most of the time with my thoughts. It went by fairly quickly.

I am spending the day in Torrox Costa, whose main attraction is an ancient “Faro” or lighthouse. My host tonight is being wonderful and very accomodating, even bringing me an extra heater as I’m struggling a bit with the cold. It confirms what I discovered earlier in Portugal: most houses here are not equipped with central heating. Heating therefore relies on either Air-Con units or the odd additional electrical device.

Tomorrow promises to be a little more varied in terms of terrain, as the road will go a little more inland than today.

Tonight’s sunset (from my window) as a present to all readers of this Blog: [to the right the view at 1pm when I arrived – below the view at 6pm…).
